Coach Profile: Aoran Lu
Aoran is a TTA TOP Course Certified Coach, with a proven track record of developing professional and competitive table-tennis athletes from technical training, strategic training, and mental resilience aspects.
She started playing at age eight and trained professionally in Shanghai, China for six years. She participated in provincial and national level tournaments at a young age, even competing against Sun Ying Sha — now a world champion.
She represented the Victoria State Team, leading the U15 Girls team to gold at the 2025 National Championships and the U17 Boys team to bronze at the 2023 National Championships. With over five years of coaching experience, she has worked with both individual and group training programs.
As a player, Aoran continues to compete. She won the mixed doubles gold medal with Sanish Ambekar at the 2023 Croydon Masters Open and reached the semifinals in the 2025 TTA Tour Melbourne.
